Driver Board
|
* |
We keep a list of
drivers who call us looking for shipments in the area. |
* |
We make notes on where
you want to go, max weight, and any other info you give us. |
* |
It's best to call us to
get on our list - while we do look in the computer system for
trucks in the area, it is not the most reliable or fastest way for us to find
you. |
* |
We appreciate you
calling us to let us know you are leaving the area so we know to
stop looking for a shipment. |

Call Before Post
|
* |
We always try to call
the drivers we have on board before posting loads. |
* |
As we go down our list we call the drivers based on
their notes: Example, we won't call drivers on a 35k lbs. load if
their max is 30k lbs., or we won't call a driver for a load going
west if they tell us they must go east. This helps us cover
loads faster (since we are often on a time limit) by not
calling/bothering drivers we know will not want certain
loads.
|
|
|
Post Before Call
|
* |
If we only have a few
drivers on board that may want a load we are offered, we will
usually post the load first and then call the drivers on our
board. In this case we are not skipping the drivers but
posting as a backup in case the few drivers we have on board turn
it down. The main reason for this is if we have a very
limited time to find a truck. |

|
Load Pay |
* |
Since we usually call
drivers on our list before posting, please don't
take the loads we post and assume that is our average rate, since
almost all of our high paying loads are taken by drivers on our
board and never get posted.
|
* |
Our rates vary depending on destination, commodity,
weight, services, and other factors making it difficult to predict
which destinations pay best.
